BEST of America! Juried Fine Art Exhibition announced by National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society
June 9, 2004--The National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society is pleased to announce the 14th annual fine art exhibition: BEST of America! 2004. The exhibition of selected paintings will begin with a preliminary viewing Sunday, October 3 through Friday, October 22 at the prestigious Ella Carothers Dunnegan Gallery of Art, 511 North Pike Street, Bolivar, Missouri, USA.
Artists will be honored at an awards reception for members of the NOAPSociety on the evening of Saturday, November 6, an event which opens the internationally-acclaimed exhibition at Columbia College, Lake of the Ozarks Campus, 3900 Highway D, College Blvd., Osage Beach, Missouri, USA. Thereafter, the exhibition is open for public viewing from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. daily beginning Sunday, November 7 and continuing through Sunday, November 21, including the annual "Family Day" event on Sunday, November 14.
The National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society is an alliance of exceptional artists showcasing outstanding works of art in oil and acrylic media. The organization's goal is the expansion of public awareness, knowledge and appreciation of fine art. The NOAPSociety is designated by the Internal Revenue Service as 501(c)(3) public charity, eligible to receive tax-exempt grants, gifts, and donations. We welcome membership applications from patrons and career artists. The juror for the 2004 exhibition is Jennifer King, U.S. Editor of International Artist Magazine. Works of art are juried on the basis of quality and individual artist's mastery of medium and expression without preference toward any particular subject matter, style, school, or painting technique. The NOAPSociety is currently accepting entries for the 2004 national competition; and the final entry postmark deadline is July 24, 2004.
